This week I've explored goal tracking. Or more specifically, are we doing it right? Are we taking the time to notice the progress and not just how close we are from acheiving our goals?

Are you tracking your goals right?

Goal tracking is probably one of the most popular personal use cases for Notion. But are you tracking the right things?

I've noticed a lot of people (past me did this too) who track their goals only based on the end target. Often it's a goal weight, an amount of money, a completed project.

But before reaching that milestone, the journey can be long and slow. There will be many steps that'll take you there. Are you measuring those steps? Are you giving yourself regular "par on the back" for taking regular actions towards your target goal?
